 Keynote

“The future we’re living into”

We’re leading kids into a future that looks radically different to today. It’s not just technological change — it’s political change, economic change, social change, climate change… and all of these vectors of change are converging to create a highly uncertain and ambiguous world.

In this talk, Kaila Colbin takes a startling look at the dramatic implications of the changes coming our way, and some profound insights into what’s truly important as we prepare ourselves — and our learners — to adapt and thrive in a dynamically changing world.

Breakout

“The call to courage”

As we’re gearing up for an ever more volatile and ambiguous world, the one certainty is the importance of courage. But what exactly does this mean? Building on from her keynote, in these breakouts Kaila Colbin will touch on the four skill sets of courage, and work with participants to understand more deeply the one essential element that unites them.

Trained by world-renowned courage expert Dr Brené Brown, Kaila Colbin has facilitated courage-building programmes for more than 1,000 people. She has a profound and unique understanding of how our all-too-human fears and feelings play out in organisations—and how to work with that humanity for extraordinary results.
